HubSpot welcomes individuals to join our Sales team as an Inbound Sales Development Representative, or more commonly referred to as an Inbound Success Coach (ISC). As part of our commitment to building a hybrid company, ISCs can be flexible with their work location with the choice to either be based in Massachusetts, or remotely in the US.


The mission of the Inbound Success Coach team is to provide prospects the most immediate and high quality first interaction with HubSpot in order to drive great future customers.

In this role, you will be the true embodiment of HubSpot's Inbound methodology. On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Navigate a high volume of product- and sales-related inquiries from prospective businesses looking to learn about the HubSpot platform
  • Conduct consultative pre-qualification of prospects for HubSpot’s sales process via phone and live chat on hubspot.com
  • Help remove technical barriers for our users and recommend software best practices
  • Set up high quality appointments between prospects and appropriate sales team members to dive deeper into needs and solutions using the HubSpot platform
  • Identify and deliver best next steps or resources to assist customers and users
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within HubSpot to improve experience for HubSpotters and HubSpot customers/users alike

We’re looking for people who have:

  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in French
  • Full-time availability (40 hours/week) Monday through Friday, specifically with an ability to work mainly 8:30am - 5:30pm EST, and occasionally 10:30am - 7:30pm EST.
  • A desire to enjoy a long-term career in sales, but you haven’t had previous experience in sales and would like to give it a shot
  • Confidence and experience communicating with different audiences through verbal and written communication
  • A strong technical aptitude to help our users succeed with the HubSpot software
  • A passion for helping our prospective businesses grow
  • Initiative to find the resources needed to be successful in this role
  • An ability to work collaboratively to solve problems

Cash compensation range: $45,000 - $50,000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
