This position is a senior leadership role that oversees and directs software implementation efforts for Granicus’ digital services space. This is a critical role that provides strategic direction, people management, customer engagement, and numerus other leadership and team oversight activities. This position requires Director-level expertise in service delivery, especially services that require significant discovery and requirements traceability management; who can build strong customer relationships, and conduct extensive project management and software deployment leadership. This role will have oversight of one or more Directors in the govService space.
What You Will Do:
• Maintain technical competence and expertise in govService products and how they are delivered to Granicus customers
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices, market data and new product rollouts.
• Provide day-to-day and strategic leadership to Implementation leaders and teams to ensure operations continue to be aligned with business goals and policies.
• Establish clearly defined goals, objectives, responsibilities, competencies and development plans for each member on the team.
• Coach, mentor and develop members of the team as well as to work closely with other team members on various projects and initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver written team member performance reviews in accordance with company policy.
• Proactively identify and lead in design and implementation of process improvements.
• Implement appropriate automated tools to manage projects, resources, and customer support information.
• Serve as an escalated point of contact for technical and software troubleshooting and support for customers.
• Build and maintain client relationships and work to become a trusted advisor to new and existing clients, identifying customer needs and communicating them internally.
• Engage as a member of the new business pursuit team by partnering with the members of other teams for RFP response creation, demo preparation / delivery, etc.
• Collaborate with the Product Management team to define software development roadmap milestones.
• Define and report relevant performance metrics to executive management.
Who You are and Traits you Have:
• Outstanding leadership, management and team mentoring acumen.
• Senior level experience (8+ years) leading cross-functional software development, deployment and implementation teams.
• Highly Experienced (5+ years) leading, training and mentoring other leaders in a remote, diverse, technology-based field.
• Well educated (Bachelor's degree or higher) in Business management, Organizational Leadership or an IT-related field
• PMP Certification is preferred
Security Requirement:
•Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.
